Then a mutual customer needed both: a full household move plus a grand piano that neither company alone had the right equipment for. We ended up working the job together, and it went so smoothly that we asked an obvious question afterward — why were we competing instead of combining what each of us did best.

The merger wasn't seamless. Two dispatch systems, two trained crews, two different definitions of "on time." It took the better part of a year to fold into one operation running to a single standard. What came out the other side is a company that can run five trucks across town on a Tuesday and one truck across three states the same week, without treating either job as the easy one or the real one.

We still keep both instincts alive: the volume discipline of a regional mover and the obsessive care of a specialty crew. Ask us to move a studio apartment or a nine-foot grand piano — the same team shows up either way, and they've done both often enough to make it look easy.
